Utterly disgraceful- endless waiting to get through by phone and not much better if you go to the building receptions. Lack of communication lack of Co-ordination. Just broken and it must have cost a fortune to build the place.
Waited 2 weeks for a prescription and it was still not at my chemist. Visited reception at surgery and advised that there was a bundle done on Friday (it was a Monday pm) waiting to be signed and should be at the chemist in a couple of days. Explained that I had used my last tablet that morning but this made no difference to the receptionist. Advised to contact my chemist for help. I should add that there were no patients In the waiting room and only one person left the surgery during my 15 minute visit. My visit was a total waste of time and not what I would expect from a supposedly caring profession. This must rate as 1 of the worst doctors surgery in the UK. Trying to phone them is also a waste of time. I have a neighbour who tried phoning 7 to 8 times over 2 days without any success. Avoid this place if possible.
Very bad practice never came across this before I was with Cockenzie medical practice a few years ago and was first class unfortunately I move house and got stuck with this practice. Fortunately I am mostly in good health but would be terrified if I was not . Its impossible to get a answer on the phone I work for Edinburgh City Council as a social care worker in the community and work split shifts and worked throughout the pandemic no not going to care for someone. You try and get a appointment with this practice night mare . It's a disgrace seem to think it's a free service which is not the case we all pay for it . There is no resident doctors there just locams coining it in and hiding when people need them . Sure there must be good doctors somewhere as I witnessed in Cockenzie practice
Why is it not possible to get an appt to see a doctor.You phone up for an appt and youre told you cant see a doctor,but if you phone early morning the next day they will get a doctor to phone you back.So I ask myself I now have to stay in until the doctor phone me,when he/she does they ask what is wrong with you,only to be told can you come down to the suregery so we can see whats wrong.Why cant they do this in the first place,its little wonder inveresk practice was voted the worst practice in the whole of Scotland.They dont bother about there patients,they are only trying to keep themselves safe from Covid.,look after no 1 comes to mind
poor service. i do bot know where is a problem but direction should pay more attention to the situation…. each request operates weeks….
It's April 2nd and there's no appts until May. However, I'll need to call back on the 5th April to get one. Weird system.
I have cancer and the treatment I have had has been fantastic. They have looked after me very well.
The worst attention at reception, never see before service so ridiculous bad.
