Food was above average price, pork steak was raw. When showed to the waiter he just shrugged it off and insisted on a 12.5% service fee. Definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone.
Overpriced very basic cooked breakfast. Cheap and nasty sauces in Heinz packaging. Unreasonable service charge added. Another diner had fish and chips which looked dreadful. Frozen chips, cheap fish.
Very grim food. Definitely a shameless tourist trap. Total rip off. Avoid at all costs.
Fast service at weekday lunchtime. It wasn’t busy. I had the fish and chips, influenced by the “best fish and chips” sign out front. It was fine but not the best tasting or value. I found the batter crisp but doughy in some places. It was expensive for the location and quality at over $30 for the “medium” portion and a coke.
The owner was hospitable and the food was delicious! We ordered fish and chips and English breakfast. 1) Fish and Chips: Fish was big, fresh and juicy. Salad and fries were delicious. 2) English breakfast: Egg, sausage, hash brown, beans and toast were delicious. Worth a try!
Not a fan of service charge. Cheap red sauce in a Heinz bottle. Thin toast that merely passed the butter dish. The rest was okay and the coffee was very good
For it being my husband and I first time for "Fish & Chips" it was amazing!! The people there were SUPER nice and personable and the price was just right!!
We will DEFINITELY be back!!
We were looking for afternoon tea and hadn't booked anything. They had walk-ins available. The place is very small and probably not knowns for their ambience the having said that the afternoon tea was great! they served us 3 finger sandwiches, a cupcake and a giant piece of chocolate cake and another Danish and a warm scone with butter and jelly. The waiter was very happy to switch the fish sandwich to a veg sandwich for me! Made me very happy!! If you're looking for a low key afternoon experience and don't have any reservations done ahead of time, definitely try this place. I couldn't comment on other meals since didn't try any of them:}
I had ordered a veg burger for takeaway. They said we have to wait for around 10-15 mins as they have to make it fresh. There's a huge price difference on dine in and takeaway. So opt for takeaway if want to save some pennies ???? BTW the burger was just awful. Patty was full of oil. Oil drops were coming out of the burger on applying little pressure. Taste was also bad.
Also they don't have many options for takeaway.
