To be honest, I have never been in the shop, but I had question whether they sell something I will need sonn when I'll be in Robin Hood's Bay. I had an answer to my e-mail within three minutes. I really appreciate that.
Fantastic local shop that manages to fit in an amazing amount of stock. Everything you might need if you are holidaying in the village and also nice holiday gifts for yourself or your house/pet sitter (cakes, biscuits, chutneys, rock etc.). Very pleasant owner too! Highly recommended and an asset to the Bay.
Incredibly cheap considering it's in a tourist hotspot. I bought a few items, including a book about the history of Robin Hood's Bay, and it came to less than £10 - can't argue with that. Staff were helpful and friendly; got a great selection of products which left me not wanting during my stay - a God-send when there's nowhere else for miles.
Given its location halfway down the hill at Robin Hood's Bay, it looked like a very well stocked shop for the local residents and visitors alike. I only popped in for a few bits, a loaf of bread etc. They had a good range of bottled ales though that caught my eye!
The lady who works here is very argumentative, unhelpful and dam right rude

Nice little shop with loads of local stuff. It is very full for a small space, but that's what makes its charm. It is located in a small village, if you expect a supermarket then that's not your place.
I thought the prices were really reasonable . The gentleman at the till (Chris I believe) was very pleasant.
Lovely little shop rammed with goods. Visited several times for various things from pizza to fresh veg.
Friendly helpful owner
We have a holiday cottage in the Bay and use Muirlea Stores often, and for most of our grocery needs.
The shop is well stocked, run by really friendly people who will go out of their way to help customers and if not too busy are always ready for a chat.
The personal service that my wife and I enjoy is second to none, and nothing is too much trouble for the owners. That's why I'll continue to support this great little shop for many years to come.
