Our table of 6 then becoming 8 later were accommodated well and the food was served quickly, and all together which is A++ for having three mixed grills. Excellent food, huge portions with plenty of tatties, vegetables and chips for all. Highly recommend!
Stopped for lunch at this lovely little gem of a hotel, run by a wonderful couple. This is right on the Tourist route from Inverness to Aberdeen and hard to miss. Food was fresh, tasty and prepared to perfection. Especially loved the fish cakes, for someone that's not too fond of fish, its a big deal ????Hope to come back and stay at the hotel someday.
If you're in literally the middle of nowhere, a good boozer is vital. I visited the place whilst staying with my partners mum and it's an absolute find.
The food is excellent, all sourced locally and the portions are huge. Do you know restaurants that have a huge menu and it's all rubbish, this place has a huge menu and it's all delicious.
Bit shabby around the edges but really that's nitpicking.
Pleasant hotel. I had dinner with a hiking group. We were cold and tired so appreciated the warm and cozy atmosphere. Heart/hands-warming stove and nice pictures on the walls. Very friendly staff, attentive and helpful. And last but not least, excellent food and big portions. Thank you!
A great choice of menu with something for everyone. The staff were great especially as the bar was busy. We left with full bellies and a smile (of enjoyment) on all our faces.
Lovely place, excellent food and indeed plenty of it. Lady was very helpful trying to deal with my non-dairy diet. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Country pub with friendly atmosphere. Great place to eat or drink. Excellent food with large portions.
Big bl00dy good meals! You'll think youre lost then suddenly there it is! Meals are 12 to 20 quid. Mostly around the 15 quid mark.
