I recently had an Open MRI Full Spine scan at MRI Plus, and I must tell you about the great experience that I have there. I must appreciate them for their excellent service & commitment i.r.t. patient comfort. Unlike traditional MRI machines, the open design of their scanner significantly reduced any feelings of claustrophobia or anxiety I had. The technologists were incredibly supportive throughout the process, ensuring I should felt at ease from start to finish. I appreciate the convenience and comfort provided by this service and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of spinal imaging.
I made an appointment at 1730 as per availability and then was called to say they close at 4. I then changed the date. The receptionist was nice however the radiographer showed no care or compassion. He didn’t calm me down or reassure me. It felt like a robotic experience. I would recommend going somewhere else. Also he asked my no questions whatsoever it’s actually quite worrying. I work in this profession and his level of care was appalling
My experience with the Soft Tissue Neck MRI service at MRI Plus was exceptional. The staff exhibited professionalism and courtesy, thoroughly explaining the procedure and ensuring my comfort throughout. The resulting images were detailed, offering valuable insights into the condition of my neck tissues. I deeply appreciate the high standard of care provided at MRI Plus and would confidently recommend this service to anyone in need of neck imaging.
Be mindful before booking with MRI plus as it’s not what it seems. If you’re seeing a lot of appointments on the day, make sure you call them to confirm first, their website is not up to date and they only offer a handful of appointments on the day you want.
Secondly, know the IT system they use is not reliable and possibly faulty, and that if you pay for a package (I paid platinum for a report I needed within 2 days) your report might not be ready until much later because of a faulty system. You will see this has happened before as per older reviews. I received my report 7 days later without the compensation they promised.
My advice: if you value your health, go somewhere where the scoring is at least 4 stars out of 5. I should have trusted my gut instinct before booking with them.
I recently underwent MRI scans of my STC Joints at MRI Plus, and I am delighted with the experience. The staff was attentive and supportive, guiding me through the procedure with compassion. The images obtained were precise and detailed, enabling my healthcare provider to accurately evaluate my joint health. I am grateful for the expertise demonstrated by the team at MRI Plus and wholeheartedly recommend this service to individuals facing joint-related issues.
Very bad experience. I paid for the silver package 299£ which states you will have a report in 2 days. It.s been almost 2 weeks and no report, no cd of images or acces to them citing IT issues. I had booked a private medical appointment with a back specialist for which I am out of pocket for. Had to go sowewhere else to do it. I asked for a refund, for which I am still waiting for. I called 2 times but they said it takes time for the finance team to do it. Don’t bother, look somewhere else.
Edit: Please don’t believe the fake reviews. Although I have finally received the results, they didn’t see my spondylisthesis which is probably due to their poor imaging or reading abilities by their radiology department. Whichever it is, I wouldn’t recommend at all. No call to apologize or the refund they promised. They should not play with people’s health like this. Please go somewhere else.
Initially, there was a slight confusion as we were scheduled for an appointment at the Hendon branch they thought we wanted an open mr. Upon realizing the mistake, the staff were very understanding and promptly assisted us, redirecting us to the correct branch. They've also kindly offered to reimburse us for the additional travel expenses incurred. I'd particularly like to express my gratitude to Shermina at the Hendon branch. Not only did she effectively address our concerns, but she also went above and beyond by providing my pregnant wife with a sandwich, greatly easing our experience during this process.
If you are looking for a private scan I cannot recommend MRIplus at Hendon highly enough. I had an appointment around lunchtime on Sunday 28th January 2024 so traffic was light to get there from Hertfordshire and plenty of free parking available. On arrival I was dealt with extremely courteously by the lady on reception desk and then taken in to the MRI Scanner Room where I met the radiographer who I believe was called Daniel.
He too was very empathetic and affable and put me completely at my ease.
I had a scan of my cervical vertebrae which took about 20 minutes and went on my way. There was no time wasted at all.
On Tuesday 30th January, so 2 days later, I received a full report with the results from Dr. Malik, a consultant radiologist which was also sent to my GP.
I do not often write reviews but the service I have had from MRI plus at Hendon has been absolutely faultless. Please pass my sincere thanks on to all staff involved - they are all a huge credit to the company.
