I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent order I placed through Uber Eats from your establishment.
As a regular customer of Mr. Chips, I scheduled my order to be delivered right when you opened, expecting to receive fresh and delicious food . However, what arrived was anything but fresh. The chips were so stale that I couldn't even bring myself to eat them. It felt as if they had been left over from the day before, despite my specific note requesting fresh chips.
This is not the first time I have encountered such issues with the quality of your food. Unfortunately, this consistent lack of attention to detail has led me to question whether I can continue to support Mr. Chips as a loyal customer. It pains me to say that I feel my money has been wasted on a subpar dining experience.
I wanted to bring this matter to your attention in the hopes that you will take steps to rectify the situation and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. As someone who has enjoyed your food in the past, I sincerely hope that improvements can be made to restore my confidence in Mr. Chips.
Bought fish & chips from Mr Chips yesterday and it was delicious. Prices were good and excellent customer services
I visited Mr Chips in Langley Green for the first time and am very pleased I did. The team working were very welcoming and polite including the owner Mr Chips.
The fish and chips were lovely - we noticed the skin on the cod had been removed - not like some other fish and chip restaurants in Crawley.
Easy parking was a real benefit -
I will definitely return - highly recommended.
Chip shop now run by under 20's on a Tuesday, laughing & joking about while you wait, uncomfortable.
Worse to come, large chips are £3. 50 & as they were either left over from lunch or just overcooked we couldn't guess, due to previous experiences here we don't usually bother, but it couldn't be as bad as last time? no it was worse. Had a job to make 1 chip sandwich with the best, the picture does them justice as they looked & tasted much worse. We wasted more than 2/3 of chips unable to eat. sorry not a good date on a Tuesday to get chips @ 5pm 1* because we actually managed to eat some. Oh they did have plenty of vinegar on them which helped.
Consistently the best fish and chips in Crawley. Have been coming here for years and it never lets down. Keep up the good work. My family and I always enjoy your fish and chips.
order a batter sausage and a large chips.chips where stale as so was the sausage tasted like they reheated the chips. never ordering from here again
Stale burger buns that are all cracked and low key look mouldy and chips are rank. The burger is very depressing and inedible. Battered sausage is pink. Drinks given went out of date two months ago. Workers are nice though I’m sure it’s not their fault.
Me and my boyfriend ordered food from here today as it was the only fish and chips place open, and I wish we didn’t. It was definitely not worth what we paid for, the chips were chewy and stale as though they had been left out for days, the fish tasted horrible, and the burger, well, let’s say that McDonald’s burgers are better quality than what I got. We were left very disappointed.
