OMG,WOW. I placed an order over phone for 2 medium skinless battered cod and 2 large chips and curry sauce quite late Saturday night(24th Feb 24) but it was no trouble to the owner and my husband went to get it 20 mins later. We've had chips B4 but we've normally left it too late to get fish. When my husband came home telling me the size and thickness of the cod in amazment,I thought he was exaggerating untill we unwrapped it and I swear I've never seen a piece of cod like it and the taste was to die for and so succulent,juicy and piping hot and chips were also amazing. The owner was extremely kind and courteous and very generous to us too. This is as far as I'm concerned the best fish and chips in the whole of Norfolk and we've tried so many and had nothing but bad experience's. But I can guarantee if you order from Mr chips you won't be disappointed. Something is seriously wrong with you if you don't enjoy it once you've gotten over the size and such amazing huge value for money. With what we had we could have fed 4 People minimum. The only chippy for us. 10 outa 10 all the way. thank you Mr chips for an amazing meal. Looking forward to our next. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR CHIPS . hope this helps People.

Can't fault anything about the service or the food. The fish portions were HUGE and cooked perfectly. The best fish we have had in a long time. There were 5 adults in our group and we all said the same. We arrived with the intention dine in. There are only 2 tables for approx 2/3 each and there were 9 people in our group but the gentleman was very accomodating, pulling tables together and bringing chairs through from another area. It really was a lovely meal and the customer services was excellent. Highly recommended!
Best chips I’ve ever had, been coming here since I was a child as it’s where my grandma is from and the quality is so unlike anywhere else.

Had sausage and chips very bland sausage, and the chips tasted like they had been cooked in year old oil will not go there again

Excellent fish and chips. Always enjoy and generous portions. The owner is an absolute gent. Top fish and chips in a large area. We travel from Hopton especially. My favourite.
Second worst fish & chips shop i've had the misfortune to buy from amd im 52! 4 or 5 people in queue & told order would be 15 to 20 mins but waited over half an hour for something that didnt seem to be cod (chewey meaty texture) . Chips were soggy and undercooked. Didnt appear to be a traditional run store. I wont be back!
