Chips was thin and crispy like scrubs complained and the manger said it was the size of the potatoes but was given a refund on the chips
Also this elderly lady come in and asked for a childs meal because she didn't eat a lot the waiter said she didn't think that she could have a child's meal but she would ask the manger? She then come back and said no she could not have the child's meal
What a way to treat a elderly lady it have put me and my friends off and we want be going there again every one was on about the way the elderly woman was treated.
She should have been treated with more respect not made to look a fool !!!!
I went there on my own for cod and chips and it was delicious and the portion was massive. Very good value for money!
It's very clean and tidy and the people that save you are very good bless them and the food is very beautiful and very clean...you must go there I went there and I wasn't disappointed at all...I give them 1000 out of 100000 percent in everything.
Amazing food but probably wouldn't return!!
We visited Mr Chippy for lunch today and ordered the classic cod & chips. I must say that the food was absolutely delicious! The chips were great and the fish was a good size and it was cooked perfectly! I would probably say it's the best fish & chips I've tasted!
...BUT...
I don't think I would return based purely on the service / lack of! We waited around 40 minutes altogether - partly queuing, but even after ordering, it took forever! Half the staff didn't seem to be doing a great deal. Everything seemed extremely disorganised and nothing seemed to be running very smoothly at all. They also forgot multiple orders while we were there! There was no way on this Earth we could eat indoors - the tables were so close together and the noise was unbareable! I couldn't have enjoyed sitting in there...
I will reiterate that the food was perfect! ...but no fish & chips is worth all of that!

Monday morning and it's full!
One worker in there absolutely disgusting, a Muslim women was trying to order and the worker who was serving her couldn’t understand her and was giving her filthy looks. She had a disgusting attitude while talking to her and as soon as the customer left the worker was slagging her off to us. I did not stand for this and told her to sort her attitude out and that she should be ashamed of herself. Absolutely vile and should not be working there. So much for equality.
Best fish in town, batter not too crunchy, chips cooked to perfection.
Ordered fish, wasn't told I had to wait for it to be cooked, wasn't worth the wait, although the battery was lovely the cod was rancid, watery and mostly grey, never again. Chips are always good though
