The service for the last 2 times has been great but in all honesty the receptionist could be a little more nicer, at least tell me what they found and what was done rather than hand me a sheet to read.
Can't recommend enough! Fantastic service from Paul who was able to fit my van in last minute for some minor repairs and MOT. I was let down by another garage and Motorworx saved me a huge amount of stress by getting my work done at the last minute before the MOT expired at a very reasonable price.
Absolute disgrace of a garage.
Put my VW campervan in for an MOT, they failed it on brakes, fair enough, but also a dangerous defect of all the stop lamps not working, so they claim they all failed at the same time?
How convenient knowing that I couldn't then drive it elsewhere for the repairs.
So they took 5 days to get my van passed and that was only after I threatened to come with a tow truck and tow it away without paying.
2 days later we're driving to Campbeltown and the power steering fails and we end up in a hedge, luckily no one was hurt.
We had to limp it 100 miles back to Glasgow stopping every 10-15 miles to top up the power steering fluid.
They either didn't test my steering properly during the MOT causing the issue or they damaged it in their rush to get it finished before I arrived because the steering was fine before it went to these amateurs.
I am consulting a solicitor for reckless endangerment as someone could have been killed if we had been on a motorway.
I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH, IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARAGE.
Great service, mechanic kept me informed at each step. The price was fair. Good garage that doesn't rip people off.
I've been going her for some years now. Car is always well serviced, and I am informed of any issues. After the MoT I know the car is fit for the road, so I feel safe for myself and family. All at a reasonable price. You might find cheaper places, but you certainly won't get the level of service you get from Paul and his staff.
Disgraceful service, overcharged for unnecessary work and the old woman at reception is as useful as a 3 legged horse. Very unwelcoming and rude is the old woman. Not coming back again. Lady you need to be in a role that is not customer facing.
Motorworx are an excellent garage. Friendly, professional, good value and honest. They have serviced, MOT’d and repaired both of our cars. All work has been to a high standard and well priced. The work required was clearly communicated amd there were no additional items or “bill shock” - after a bad experience using Arnold Clark in South St, Motorworx were the perfect antidote.
