Need to tell this story as I feel people have a right to know. I took my car here for an MOT and service a few years ago. Was during Covid. Don't know what happened, whether they took a dislike to me or what but my car had issues straight away that it didn’t have before after picking it up. One of my tyres kept losing air, the warning message (loss of tyre pressure) came on as soon as I started the car up after paying and leaving the Moss Street Garage. Just thought at the time must be because they’ve messed with the air. Anyway I put the correct air in the types but soon after the same warning message came on so took my car to another garage to find out why and a nail was found in one of the tyres. No issue before the MOT and service. Not only that, the windscreen wipers had been tampered with, they were made too tight to the windscreen on both back and front so they made a terrible screeching noise every time I had to use them which wasn’t the case before I took it to this garage. Also the water they had put in my screen wash smelt of rotten eggs. I believe this was all done deliberately. I am gay so could have been homophobia, really couldn’t be sure, only they would know why but just needed to warn people and get this off my chest as it upset me at the time and I’ve just let them get away with it for all these years.
Never used previously so a little apprehensive. Booked in for an MOT which was complete in just under 45mins! Had a coffee while I waited☺️ Excellent service. Thank you
I would have given less than 1 star if that was possible. I left my car in to have a seat belt released that had locked with the seat down. The Garage insisted that they TRIED but couldn't fix it and recommended that I should buy a complete new back seat. They charged me over £80 for their unsuccessful efforts. They had only made it worse. I took it to a garage around the corner who fixed it in 5 minutes (literally) and charged me nothing.
