We usually go to the Kielder2 for fish & chips but as hubby was dropping someone off in Morpeth, we thought we'd give it a try...big mistake. I've never seen "cod" so thin, if it was 1cm thick I feel that's being generous. Overcooked, hard and tasteless. Chips were ok but as hubby said it's hard to mess up a spud. We should have read the reviews first but hey, once bitten twice shy. Never again
I wouldn't ever bother ordering from this place. Placed order at 7.35 pm and as I write this warning the order has still not arrived!!!! What a sham. Complete and utter waste of time! I stupidly paid upfront aswell. Two hour wait at a cost of £16!
Chips were disgusting I managed to eat about 6 out of the portion served with my greasy kebab at 5.20 tonight 12/3 24
This place never lets me down, they have a brilliant selection of food and delivery is always on time if not early.
On the odd occasion when there has been a problem like my gravy was missing last week, I called and they brought it straight away so the customer service is brilliant!
The staff are lovely and friendly, delivery drivers included!
Very very bad stuff and service i just have now fish and ships it's my first time trying the restaurant they are very rude and weird and irrespecutful i don't know what happen with them when i talk they just laughed together i was like any costumer i said hi can i have fish and ships please they start to laugh then he ask me vinegar or salt i said salt i don't like vinegar they start to laugh then they ask me if i want lemon i said yes please and they start to laugh again and tell me to do that at my home this is unacceptable behaviour 000000000 ???????????????????????????????????????????????? i will never ever back there
I popped in here on Friday night for a humble bag of chips. What I got was a bag of stone cold, soggy stodge with neither taste nor texture. Very disappointing to say the least and it took ages to get them. I won't be rushing back anytime soon...
Last 2 orders have been messed up. One didn't get delivered even close to time we were told so had to cancel it and then they sent a fish short on most recent order. That would be one thing but the fish was shrivelled and dry and chips weren't nice either.
Bought 2 portions of sausage and chips for my grandson and myself for our evening meal, sausage was ok but most of the chips went in the bin, the potatoes were bad(disscoloured) and should never have been used, wont be back.
