I loved this place. It's got a nice atmosphere and gave me brilliant bagels (I visited twice, so that tells you something).
Good friendly staff and I can also recommend their Smoothies. Delicious.
This cafe is a hidden gem that effortlessly combines a pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff, a fantastic location near the seafront, an extensive menu, and thoughtful amenities for families and special events. If you're seeking a cozy haven to relax and indulge in delightful treats, this cafe should be at the top of your list.
This is a really nice place to go with young children as it has a play area upstairs, but not much point going on the weekend as the play room is usually booked up. The other thing I would say is that it is extremely cold- I understand that the owners may be having cut costs due to massive energy prices, but just be aware that you will end up in coats the entire time and even then it is pretty cold.
I stayed in a hotel nearby and found this little cafe when exploring the region.
They provide breakfast until noon, so it’s good to have a early lunch here (price is cheaper then lunch menu). I enjoyed the Stack of Pancakes with crispy bacon.
Food is good and staffs are nice. But the ventilation here is not ideal, it will make your clothes and hair full of smell.
Went in here for a baby event, when we came out we all smelled of fat fryer grease. Because of this I would not return.
The staff were not great either. One in particular is very rude. I ordered a flat white, and what came was the worst made coffee I have ever had. It was just some froth on top of a coffee. Not good for a coffee shop.
The cakes are very nice though.
Other people ordered cooked breakfast, I can't comment on the quality as I didn't have it, but most of the food seemed to be microwaved, as you can see behind the counter whilst cooking.
Took my daughter here this week and she loved it, soft play is amazing and I saw they advertised classes etc too. Food was also lovely ! Only thing I would say is it’s a nightmare to get a pram though with the width of the Christmas arch but that’s not to biggest deal and obviously a seasonable thing. ☺️
We loved our lunch there! Lovely food, well presented and delicious. We had to wait for it a little bit but it was well worth it once it arrived. Fantastic smoothies and ice cream- they even had vegan ice cream which was great.
BEST KIDS CAFE EVER! My husband and I stumbled on this cafe with our two kids (3yrs and 7 mo.) while on holiday in Eastbourne and we loved it. it was perfect for kids, with so many thoughtful touches from the baby gate at the stairs to the books to read, to the play kitchen to the soft flooring to the kids menu. And the list of activities made me wish we lived there. On top of all that, the food and drinks for adults were delicious too! We liked it so much, we even tried to convince the owner to open a branch in Portugal.
