Absolutely spot-on! Mabo's finest fish and chips spot, no doubt. They even accommodated my request for half curry and half mushy peas, which was fantastic. The batter was perfectly crispy, and the fish was deliciously flavorful. A small portion was more than satisfying, and for just over a tenner, including fish, chips, peas, curry, and a can of shandy, it's unbeatable value. I'll definitely be returning for more!
The food was brilliant. Staff are very helpful.
The Large fish was on steroids it was huge.
It's definitely worth a visit if you're hungry.
Only criticism is you pay extra to sit in, but the food is served on the same trays
as the takeaway.
Well we went 11 years ago and had to go back this week to see if it was still as good and it didn’t disappoint. The premises were spotless. The staff were so friendly even stayed open so we could go back to van get sorted then come back later. We ended up having a good chat, felt like we’d known each other years. There’s only one place for me and that’s Monty’s!

Don't expect a dining room to serve food piled up on a small cardboard tray! Fish was wet inside batter, peas ok & chips average. Will not visit again, don't recommend!

Great batter and fresh fish... ...just can't beat it.. Really enjoyed put fish suppers dine in along with mug of tea.. def go back next time we are in Mablethorpe.
Best fish and chips place in the area, the large Cod was tick and juicy and more than enough to fill your belly, I also purchase 3 raw pieces of Cod to cook at home for my family. Keep up the great serving services and the top quality of freshness of the fish.
