Très convivial , parfait pour une déconnexion en famille.
We booked the house because it looked good online and there were good reviews. However, it became clear that the quality of the house has deteriorated recently, since there is a new owner.
We noted the following issues during out trip:
- The house lacked basic hygiene. The kitchen gear was disgusting (grease, dust, traces of food, dead flies and fungus), we had to wash everything to make it usable. Then we noticed the dishwasher also had fungus in it.
- The host tried to ask for more money when we arrived. He had first opened only part of the rooms and asked for more money to open all the advertised rooms.
- There was loose electric wiring on several places in the house and several fuses were taped off. There is a possible risk of electrocution.
- There is a severe moisture and fungus issue in the house. Wallpaper, tiles and plaster are falling from the wall because of it. The whole house smells of it (note that our trip took place in the middle of summer during a period of extreme drought).
- The garden is not maintained: meters high weeds everywhere.
- The garden is literally used as a dump. There are used household appliances, building materials, old furniture and waste everywhere. The playground is in the middle of this (and clearly not safe and completely worn down).
- The place is infested by flies. They were everywhere, both alive and dead (under beds and sofa's).
The house we got matched in no way with what was advertised and is not fit for renting.
We stayed in the house with 4 friends. It is a lovely house and very friendly hosts. The house is located on top of the valley. The area is perfect for cycling: Hills, little villages and beautiful quiet nature.
There is a depot du pain in the village and good restaurants around. We would come back again!
House in bad condition, humidity in the walls and fungus all over the place. Broken dishwasher in the garden. Host JM is unreliable, didn’t commit to what was agree upon.
Rust en ruimte ! top locatie! Zeer ruime en comfortabele appartementen. ‘De centrale keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. ‘ s morgens heerlijk kraakvers stokbrood halen bij depot du pain voor het ontbijt. geen massatoerisme maar genoeg leuke plekjes en steden om te ontdekken bijvoorbeeld Langres, Dijon. Voor herhaling vatbaar! Dank voor een heerlijke vakantie!
The pictures and reviews are old and from previous owners. Now they don’t match with the actual state: dirty, badly taken care of the garden, old dishwasher dumped in the garden… not what we’ve imagined our holiday what would look like…
There were 15 of us. Liked the small self contained units. Owners friendly, plenty of surrounding area to walk in. Disapointed that the top oven did not work properly, bottom oven not working. Bbq was small for 15 people to eat together and it had never been cleaned so we had grease on our clothes.
