Gorgeous place, but stairs leading to beach have been closed since Nov 23. Still accessible at low tide through Monkstone point
From the Trevayne campsite there's a footpath down to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. To the left, the path leads to Saundersfoot and to the right, Tenby. Straight ahead there are two steep paths, the right leads down to the beach via a series of steps. At the bottom you need to cross a section of stones to get onto the sand. You can walk down to the sea, or the rock pools near the Monkstone Rock. On the other side of the rocks you can walk along the beach to Saundersfoot.
Beautiful place for those mobile enough to reach it… a stunning view of Tenby harbour, lovely beach and the sea was amazing in September…
Like other reviewers say; it can be a hell of climb on these steep stairs, but it is really worth it. On low tide you can walk or sit between the giant rocks and the beach is wide and so lovely. On high tide it is a lovely place to swim or just enjoy the surf. It is quiet here but not much parking available, you can park the car for free along the road just before you reach the farm / camping. Most of the visitors here are staying on the camping. To reach the beach it is a walk for about 200 meters before you reach the stairs to the beach.
Lovely sandy beach after you get past the rocky scramble. It's nearly 200 steps down to the beach, which wasn't too bad, it's the nearly 200 steps back up that can be a pain. There is a nice bench half way up for a rest. Worth a visit and dog friendly as well.
Incredible beach, there is a bit of a walk to get there but worth it. Deserted when we were there.
As said the walk in particular the track down to the beach is steep but very safe.
The walk is steep and an awful lots of steps, but the walk down and views are the most beautiful I have seen in the UK
