Purchased a vehicle (SL12 LFB if you wish to check for yourselves the car MOT history) from a supplier that is not Moffat G&T Lockerbie. The vehicle had 4 years of clean, no advisory MOT outcomes according to MOT history check gov.uk.
11 months after owning the vehicle, I took it for its MOT. It failed on a major defect due to significant corrosion to the subframe (4 holes). I then used my v5 to check the MOT test centre history.
The four years when there were no advisories or major defects recorded were all carried out by this one test centre, four years in a row. Just 11 months later, the car failed due to major defects.
I question the veracity of this MOT test centre and urge anyone who has purchased a vehicle that has received a clean MOT certificate from this organisation to conduct their due diligence.
I have used Moffats Garage for over 40yrs and they have never failed to provide the best service possible. Their charges are also very reasonable as well. I would never go anywhere else for vehicle repairs and servicing.

Arriving at any garage unannounced, late in the afternoon with any sort of breakdown could be met with a blank apology, but not here!
