Marvellous - We have visited Arundel a few times now but not tried the little cafe until now.
Situated in front of the town after the bridge, opposite the most idyllic Post Office have ever seen, the Cafe has one of the largest menus we have come across on offer.
We had a simple coffee and cake this time, tasty and pleasant but you can have pretty much anything, from toasted tea cake to Full English Breakfast, what's not to like?
The cakes are plentiful and delicious with many favourites to choose from, we will definitely visit again next time.
Staff were attentive and friendly. Decor was varied but as you would expect from a busy cafe, which had many satisfied customers...4/5
I have anaphylaxis to milk, they looked after me very well. Came and checked on me and food was safe. Thank you, there is not many places I can eat out and feel safe.
Excellent from start to finish was a very busy Easter Monday and the staff seated and served us within 15 minutes sitting to eating. Perfect. They even apologised for the non existent wait. Food was perfect has an amazing milk shake as well.
Lovely bakers/cafe. Nice friendly service. Decent coffee and a good sandwich. Big menu choice. Reasonable prices.

Had a great lunch here today, hand cut chips + a proper cornish pasty and a fresh coronation chicken baguette, both served with a generous side salad and Cole slaw. Cheerful and friendly service, well priced too. Highly recommended!
For anyone who knows how freshly roasted coffee should taste like the coffee at this place is undrinkable. How hard it could be to self educate yourself on where to buy freshly roasted beans, how to grind it , how to steam the milk etc..? If you really want the customers to return.
We went to visit Arundel castle yesterday friday, on our way back to the car park we saw Moathouse Bakeaway & coffee, so we drop by. The place is cosey and it’s not busy. Lots of food selections. We ordered milk shake oreo, sausage roll, chicken and chorizo pasty and coffee. The food taste nice. They have ice cream but we didn’t order. They have toilet upstairs it was clean. The area is very close to the castle and the car park. It’s a good place to visit. I want to mention one of the staff she is gorgeous and nice.
