The food is always fresh, hot and never greasy. The portions are a perfect size. Also a great range to choose from. They are also always very clean and very polite friendly staff. I have found it's always best to call first then collect.
This also benefits from a lovely solid ramp on the entrance. Although space is tight it is accessible for mobility restricted people too.
Had a change of ownership over the last couple years..so the quantity of the portions of chips is questionable some times

We have recently moved locally and now tried all the fish and chip shops around Lawford, Mistley and Manningtree. We have settled on this one as our favourite and the best! The fish and the batter are AMAZING!!! Having had the cod and haddock, it is beautifully cooked, lovely and meaty (NOT dry, "super fishy ????" or overcooked). We have been here a few times now, the food is consistent, piping hot and tasty. We order ahead. Pay by contactless. The social distancing and their PPE attire is good. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Great pricing. What's not to love! It's our regular! Recommend ????
