How can a portion of chips be so wrong. As I ordered, a fresh batch had cooked... but that's not what I was given. My chips were dry, hard and cold... absolutely inedible. Shameful that they are passing this off to customers. I feel ripped off..... might as well as flushed £3 down the drain.
[September 23] Had a late night sausage and chips. Nearly died three hours later. Projectile vomit and worse. Can’t be 100% sure, but it was my last meal of the day. I’d say food poisoning was a good bet. Would not recommend and haven’t used since.
A friendly welcome on arrival, prices looked reasonable, so far so good.
Jumbo battered sausage (a guilty pleasure) was Jumbo and delish.
Unfortunately the 'small' chips which came with it, while anything but small, were cold and soggy and most of them went in the bin. Minging, in fact. Sort your chips out and I'll consider coming back.
I mean I got to give them a 5 star. I have ordered from them many times. They are usually very fast and sometimes comes with a free chips. I can tell they try to make me very happy, and honestly I had a good experience. And to be fair, they are not stinjy one bit. That is worth a 5star. When ever you order something it literally comes full. You are not going hungry. There is no other chipi that comes even close to them and they deserve it.
Great doner meat & chips and fab, friendly service. However the chips were useless. If the boss reads this, why not switch to kebab shop frozen chips... they're easier to cook, crispy and delicious! Fish & chips would be better with better chips too, trust me!
My partner had sausage with chips, peas and gravy. She also thought the chips were useless. Generous portions, and I repeat, good service.
We should support this place. It gets flooded sometimes. Go to Ming's, buy your dinner!

Mixed kebab, dry flavourless chicken breast, bland, dry donner meat. cheese on chips with beans had no flavour just plastic rubbish, battered sausage not crispy. stayed at hotel awaiting my food to arrive (status from just eat - still in kitchen) got a call from hotel reception to tell me my food had arrived.
The driver did not have the decency or respect to phone me to tell me he had arrived with my order he left it with reception and left!. who knows how long it was at reception for, as its not the receptionist job to tell me a food delivery has arrived for me! absolute joke. this coinciding with below average food. i regret ordering form this place, phoned the shop ,and guy i spoke to didn't really care.
We popped in for some chips by chance. Which turned out to be the best we've had in a very long time. They were gorgeous. And the fish looked devine. If your visiting or passing through Rose-on-wye, Ming's should be on your to do list for sure ????
Best fish & chips around. The fish was freshly cooked with just the right amount of batter. Tried a couple of places around but Ming's takeaway came on top! Also very friendly staff.
