I can't speak for the wider menu but I couldn't help myself and had to try their munch box. It's £17.50 and it feeds 2 people (3 is probably more realistic). It fed me and a friend for dinner and there was enough for me to have lunch the following day.
The food was ready promptly and the staff seemed polite. My only gripe is that they do not take card payments, luckily there's a spar across the road who do cash back.
I'll definitely be coming back in the future for another munch box!
Always love the food from here and if you haven't tried a munch box yet, you're missing out!!
The service was average. The Sweet and sour pork was mostly sauce and hardly any batter around the pork. The pork chow mein was average but plentiful.
You go any later then 10 the chips will be reheated. Warm cold raw chips is not the one after you finish work ???????? to be then left hungry.
Also on numerous occasions had one of the young girls (NOT the blonde girl) cough in my food ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.
I have also seen this same girl FLEM in the bin that’s near the chips. Which I believe to be a food bin and NOT A BODILY WASTE BIN. She’s rude and gross and needs to get out of there! Disgusting girl!!!
Good fish chips and quick service
Reheated hard chips and reheated fish. Completely inedable. Unhelpful on the phone. This place used to be good, I think the old owner who now works in the spar needs to go back and sort out the Chinese.
Fish & Chips have always been awful here due to the reheated fish shrunken in the corner of the batter and the chips are just sharp small bits of potatoes fried. I had the Chinese food this weekend and had symptoms of food poisoning the next morning !
Absolutely banging kiddies loved it so much we had fifths.
