Had the good fortune of stumbling across this hidden gem in Gosforth this afternoon. An amazing experience topped off with amazing desserts and a welcoming, friendly environment with a wonderful choice of music too! Couldn't recommend highly enough and would strongly advise checking them out if you're in the area. They have a great loyalty scheme in addition to the aforementioned details, certainly looking forward to returning in the not too distant future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Lots of selection, well maintained and friendly staff each time we’ve been. My children struggle with all the choice - worse decisions to make, but we try to make it a regular treat stop on our way in/out from trips. Thanks Mimi’s!
Icecreams are beautifully made, most times I go the flavours are different. Last time I went, I got a pecan brownie with icecream and waffle haven and it was amazing! Presentation was great and staff are just lovely. Mimi is amazing, she puts a lot of effort and work into what she does. She is clearly very passionate and I have never been let down by quality. Kids seem to love coming in and when I need a perk up, I'll pop around for icecream. Keep up the good work ???? vegan options are available as well and they have a great loyalty scheme.
We always visit Mimi's on Christmas eve since they opened. If I remember correctly they hadn't really intended on opening on Christmas eve back then (2017?) but it was a great thing for me when I was on my own with my children that year!
It's become something of a tradition since then, and pandemic aside, we've always come in on Christmas eve (as well as through the year!)
The ice cream is delicious (I love the blood orange one and also the pistachio)
It's reasonably priced with plenty of choice and friendly staff.
I'll always recommend Mimi's, it's a lovely little place with something for everyone.
Fantastic family run business. Coffee is great, ice creams are always amazing, service is friendly and warm and the brownies are incredible. Very lucky to have this place in the neighbourhood!
Tucked away just outside of Gosforth, behind the petrol station is this award winning ice cream parlour.
loads of flavours from the classic to the unusual served up by their super friendly staff in either cones or tubs of various sizes. Plenty of room inside and outside to sit. Also does great tea and coffee!

Bramble (vegan) delicious, salted caramel, passion fruit , Cherry, jammy dodger and Oreo I tasted then all the best I have tasted. All six flavours were very good. The service was good and very friendly
