I was at Mimi’s on the 28th, I wanted to try a local breakfast and I LOVED everything! So I went back again the next day, just before leaving Edinburgh. As an Italian I am not used to have a really big breakfast but it was really really really good. Also, the waitress answered all of my questions since I was full of questions about local food. All the staff was really really kind and nice with me, and as a solo traveller I felt very welcome. Thank you Mimi’s!
Took my mum for tea for two on mothersday and we had a lovely time. I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't anything on the table saying the name of the place for photos. The brand is on the plates but its under the cakes so it was hard to show where we were. The food was delicious but I think we were maybe a scone each away from being full. I've never left tea for two with room in my tummy so that was something noticeable to me. The coffee was delicious too, creamy roast that wasn't too strong. Lovely lattes. Would recommend branded napkins or branded flower vases? Apologies also I got jam on a daffodil. Would recommend but also hope they add something more identifiable for images. We had a lovely breakfast at Mimis! The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is delicious, beautifully presented and quick despite them being busy. This is our second visit to Mimis in a couple of weeks as we had vouchers to use but the lovely team chose us for their birthday promo and gave us our meal free on our last visit which made my day so we returned today to use our vouchers. Special thanks to Lindsay, Lauren, Mel and the barista Alex- you guys do a wonderful job!
Went here for breakfast the food was lovely and the staff are really friendly and the done great fit us in as we never booked before hand definitely recommended to friends and family and will be back again
A really lovely experience all round.
The staff were welcoming, attentive but not bothering you.
Nothing was too difficult (we asked for a few changes) and the cakes are delicious.
Unlimited tea/coffee with the afternoon tea a bonus.
We even got a smart wee box for leftovers.
Went for breakfast with friends and it was delicious. Service was quick and excellent. Staff also is friendly and kind.
Will recommend to book in advance.

We recently visited Mini’s Bakery in Edinburgh for a work team lunch. The ambiance was delightful, the service impeccable, and the food both satisfying and delectable. The Avocado toast with chorizo and feta was simply scrumptious ????, and the passion fruit lemonade soda a refreshing treat. I'll certainly return without hesitation!
Very tasty 3 cheese macaroni. Did prefer the Mexican version they used to do but nice and cheesy.
It goes without saying the cakes, which they specialise in, are yummy. There are a few branches now around Edinburgh so not far to go for a coffee and cake fix!
