The opening hours have been updated they open at 9:30 am Monday - Friday, 10:30 on Saturday, and 13:00 on Sunday.
I always find the staff very pleasant, yes they can be a bit slow but with a little patience you will be served well.
We must support our local pharmacies or they will go.
Formal complaint about your one on Vassal Road as the branch needs to be INVESTIGATED. Vassal Road have the worst engagement with customers, refuse to answer the phone and sell medication NOT needed and refuse to take it back when pointed out whilst still in the shop!!
Rudely dismissed and rejected here by staff after they made a mistake.
Medimex on Kennington Rd, meanwhile, sorted the problem immediately and supportively.
Strongly recommend avoiding Millennium Pharmacy – they will not help you when you need it.
WOMEN - do not go here for contraceptive or feminine specific medicine/treatment. You will be SHAMED, SHUNNED and PUNISHED!
As a grown 32 year old woman, I didn't think I would need to run to the shadows of a sexual health clinic to receive a simple emergency pill due to the shame this man tried to put me through. This is 2023 - I suggest he gets grip and treats ALL women, irrespective of how old he perceives them to be, with respect and dignity.
So here's my story -
I popped into this chemist to grab the emergency pill, initially thinking it was a site that offered it on the NHS I was informed by the lady over the counter this was not the case.
During my entire conversation with this lady, an older man of African/Caribbean appearance, stood in the back, shaking his head disapprovingly and explicitly trying to make me feel uncomfortable, while enquiring for the emergency pill.
The lady behind the counter was very helpful however & did inform me the price of the Leve-pill, which they sell at £30 (double the price of superdrug). To give perspective- 5 day Ella is £30 at superdrug.
I informed the lady I would be back before they closed, if I had no luck with superdrug. She confirmed they were open until 9pm and at this point it was 7:45pm.
I returned to the store at 8:25pm to find the shutters down, door closed & the African/Carribean man sat at the counter working. I attempted to knock with no response and was disgusted that he has closed 35mins earlier knowing I said I may need to come back for an EMERGENCY contraceptive, that is time sensitive.
Horrible horrible behaviour. I believe was done on purpose, due to the disapproving & judgemental demeanour showed by the man when I initially popped in at 7:45pm.
Had serious toothache. Pharmacy gave me codeine and ibuprofen. Took a while to kick in but when it did it was pain-free bliss
If I could put a 0 star review, I would. After a year going there It's reached the point where I had so many repeated bad experiences with them that I was dreading going there. Most of the staff are nice but unfortunately the main pharmacist is sloppy and rude. Finally switched pharmacy. My advice: avoid at all cost.
Absolutely disgusting service. The pharmacist is never there when needed and was late again this morning! They charge over £20 for any private prescription even if the medication cost them 78pence and I managed to get it from boots pharmacy at just over £9.....same private prescription! Its hard enough to even get any help with nhs GP and these pharmacists are using that to make more money out of peoples misery! Absolutely disgusting!
Utterly awful. I went in for my prescription and they said they didn’t have it. I phoned the doctors and they’d already sent it over. They just couldn’t find it in the pharmacy? The woman serving me was rude and miserable. Constantly mumbling behind the plastic shield so I couldn’t hear her at all. No customer service skills. She just kept walking off and not telling me what she was doing or whether she was looking for my prescription. They kept me waiting for over 30 minutes. Don’t register here.
