This place has been going for a long time. I don't go very often but when I do the service is good. I feel the cakes are better than their sandwiches. The only downside is that it's cash only. I would imagine it loses a lot of business not taking card payments
Cheerful staff, and sandwiches made to order with LOADS of delicious filling. My only quibble is that you need cash to make a purchase, but there is a cash machine very nearby.
Amazing food and sandwiches, very frustrating though having the women get my orders wrong consistently! They never write the order down and just try to remember it and proceed to forget 90% of the time and have to re ask what I want in my sandwich 3-4 times. And then when they don’t do that, my order is wrong. Never had any problem dealing with the owner, he is great. Just frustrating when they get your order wrong consistently and when you challenge them, you get eye rolls and head shakes! Don’t let this deter you from going in, I just hope they can arrange to start writing the food down, rather than trying to remember the whole order, things would probable be more efficient as a result! Once again though, the food is great
Delicious, scrumptious,scones and more, although I can’t eat them due to health reasons but still take wife and and father in law, love the Cornish/traditional pasties but will have a treat from time to time, pleasant staff, don’t forget cash only. Nothing wrong with that, let’s keep it cash.
Cracking place. The staff where absolutely fantastic. Great selection on show and to purchase. We actually spent quite a bit simply due to the display. There is plenty of parking outside. Unfortunately they do not take card payments.
I get around a lot for work and always pop in when I'm passing, good prices, easy parking and good food
Ignores any silly reviews I am a very fussy man, ive travelled near and far to find the best bakery's, This Bakery is the best by far.
The peppered steak pies blow my mind I travel from far away just to get them, im excited the whole drive up there. They do the best sausage rolls, the best cakes and tarts, the best fresh sandwiches. If it was closer id be eating from there every lunchtime.
Infact I think I might just go up there for my dinner now ive thought about it.
Staff are wonderful very professional have been very effective in keeping social distancing measures in place.

The fresh sandwiches are so tasty and we love the staff. They do home made cakes too. Its no wonder they're so popular. Definitely recommend this bakery.
