There has been a chip shop here for decades. Decent food, decent variety of food, selection of drinks. I was there on one of the few days of decent weather in August 2023 and sat outside with my meal.
When they saw I was sitting outside, rather than 'taking away', they were very attentive and rushed out a knife, fork, salt & vinegar to me.
Excellent eat-in area and a big area to eat outside.
Keep away order sausage and chips twice at £14 was warmed up chips and a cold sausage if I wasn't in a rush I'd of gone back in how do they get away with serving food like this at them prices is beyond me

I don’t write reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. 2 couples at table with 2 different orders but both simple and they couldn’t get it right or fix they’re mistake. Shorted one then when asked about it made them pay for fish they had already payed for then my wife ordered cod and they brought her something else and argued with us that it was cod when it obviously wasn’t. On top of all of that all the food was cold and stale. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat instead of wasting your money here!
Ordered small cheesy chips, sausages and a can of coke. £3.90 for about 15 chips with a strand of cheese. The Sausages were anaemic. Even the coke was disgusting. Had to wait 40 minutes for it but had to sit outside because it smelt of sick inside. It was so bad I had to go elsewhere for my dinner.
Great fish and chip shop. My wife and I went there several times when we were on holiday in Suffolk. Friendly staff and delicious fish and chips. They also sell alcohol as well. When we last visited the weather was very nice and we sat outside on the decked area at the front of the shop. It was lovely having fish and chips and a beer. ????????
