Sorry to say… just got home with large fish &chips & medium fish & chips £19.60.
The chips portion were really small, so disappointing as I was really looking forward to my supper as I have been in the hospital all afternoon. Please give people a fair portion. Thank you
It would be better if the owner wasn't on the phone today. Don't usually have an issue but today my food was burnt and couldn't enjoy it. Please keep an eye on your food cooking and stop smoking at the back as I could smell it on your clothes and on the phone. Bad service however the people who work there in the evenings are gemz so can't fault them.
This establishment is a regular call on journeys through the area. I have generally been pleased with the fare on offer. However, my preference is for the fish to be cooked for a little bit longer so that the flesh is drier. Hamster only gets a look in on the odd chip or two, which he loves!

Treated myself to cod and chips today, you get good sized portions, it is all cooked fresh to order, very reasonable prices was really good.
I highly recommend this fish & chip shop.
One of several fish and chip shops this owner has in Sudbury. 5 stars from me means the best...especially as I can phone with my requirements and have it freshly cooked and waiting for collection.
Only had chips this time they were as good as always. But two of the staff not wearing masks correctly one hanging from one ear and one covering chin. Customers are required to wear mask why not staff.
The staff are always super friendly and their food is always fresh if you arrive at the right time. We have always had delicious food
