Great people.. superb Sunday lunch.. chicken and beef were beautifully cooked and not dry.. highly recommend
Had our Christmas party here last night 02/12/23. From booking to the day there was great communication. Very friendly. Food was amazing!! Our ladies who served us all night were such a delight. We all had a fantastic time. Thank you!!
I must say on many occasions I have received excellent service excellent food and excellent welcome from all the staff at this establishment, as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a welcoming smile, a clean establishment which I highly recommend. I also have been blessed with beautiful food which I would gladly take pleasure in eating again ..
We travelled from Hereford to have Sunday lunch with my parents who are from Merthyr and highly recommended the food. Lovely atmosphere on arrival.
We sat downstairs, due to 2 elderly disabled people and ordered our 5 roast dinners, the waitress while bring our food to the table she was struggling to carry the 5plates all at once, so she approach a lady on a different table across the room and asked for help to remove the uncovered top meal and put on her table while she delivered the rest and would come back for it in a few minutes.
Has you can imagine I wasn’t at all happy that someone on a different table had been handling my food and coughing all over it before it reached me at my table, so that put me off eating it all together.
Plus the other 4 dinners was stone cold, I did complain to another waitress, who apologised and said I’ll ask the chef to come down to speak to you. “But never did”
I paid for 5dinner in full that was hardly eaten with no apology.
Unfortunately, will not be returning or recommending to family or friends.

We’ll never had a problem with the food it’s been amazing the owner are amazing and can’t do enough for you we had a Christmas party down here the food was stunning and there was no problem with anything will be back and be tell people the con is the place to be very lovely food
We recently had refreshments here after a funeral. The food was freshly prepared, home made and excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend
A very nice place for a night out with live music. We had so much fun there.
Great place. So many rooms for parties etc. Reasonably priced
