Hands down the best food on the island. ????️ The service is very friendly and quick, and the food very good. Each dish comes with its unique flavor (we went here a couple of times and almost ate ourselves through the menu) and is worth exploring. For us, the red and paneng curry, cashew nut and stir fried basil with rice were the best ones but you almost cannot go wrong here. They also have coconut and oat milk which adds some nice combinations to their smoothies, eg banana and coconut ???? ????. Highly recommended!
Visited this lovely restaurant/cafe twice in one day. Lovely place with good and airy atmosphere, very nice and helpful staff, great food too. Love the croissant, chocolate milkshake and also the coconut is very fresh.
(Would be giving more stars if possible) Never have I thought that I would be eating such a tasty steak in Thailand. The meat was so tender and perfectly prepared, as wished. Cannot agree with some other comments that it's expensive, I believe the price for the steak is more than fair, as are the other prices. The owners are super friendly and outgoing. The restaurant itself is so nicely decorated, the garden and the terrace give you a cozy atmosphere. Everything looks spotless and clean. And the service..wow, one of the best services we had in Thailand, so professional and efficient I can't praise enough! I would highly recommend visiting this place, we will be definitely coming back soon to try some other dishes. Keep up the good work.

Many, many restaurants on Ko Kut, and few deserve a return visit. But the Mermaid is an exception. The owner imbues Thai charm and culture/values, into their offerings, creating a truly memorable experience! Neither inexpensive nor unfairly priced!

I had such a wonderful time at Mermaid Restaurant in Koh Kood, the people are wonderful and the food and drinks are perfect. Especially the iced cocoa drink, perfect to cool you down and quench my chocolate craving ❤️❤️❤️
