Sadly I wouldn't recommend it due to inadequate provision for dietary requirements.
I'm sure their regular fish and chips etc are great though so hence 3 stars. Please note additional comments.
I ordered sausage and chips to take away. The portion was okay, but not generous. The chips were soggy and lacked the crispness I like - reheated from earlier batch maybe? Anyway, not to my taste. The sausage was ok. I'm new to the area, so will try other options. This place is not for me!
Used to be a weekly regular but prices have increased, quality and portions have decreased. Overall it’s been hit and miss for a while but what was originally the odd miss is now seems to be the odd hit. Thought we’d give it another try after 2-3 months but unfortunately this will now be the last unless quality is improved
Very good fish and chips, was a much needed meal after a long day out and about. Hot and fresh, would recommend.
The internet says opens at 4 o'clock, so we drove 7 miles to get fish and chips only to read on the door that they were closed on Sundays during the winter months. How difficult is it to add this important information on the Internet?
Undoubtedly the best fish and chips I have ever had. Fresh as you like haddock in a nice thin crispy batter, golden slightly crisp tasty chips, homemade fish cake had nice chunks of fish and seasoned perfectly.
Not greasy at all.
Shame it’s so far from where I live!
Food excellent, service OK but staff not able to recognise next in que to be served so que out of door. Not sure best way to solve it.
Nice fish and chip shop, better than most! Good selection of other choices too, pea fritter - yum!
