What a wonderful find! The ladies who run the restaurant couldn't be more welcoming and were attentive throughout the evening. The food was freshly prepared and tasted amazing. We chose medium when asked and I am glad as hot would probably have been a bit too hot for me! Soft drinks are sold and you can bring your own alcoholic drinks. A really great night and we will definitely be back.

My husband Aamer and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant on our way to London from Scotland. The food was wonderful and the people even more so. We received warm attention and hugs and had enjoyable conversations. The people are really heartfelt. We are so glad we stopped by! Highly recommended.
Amazing food,wonderful hospitality and nothing is too much trouble in this cosy family atmosphere. Lack of meat is in some ways an advantage as encourages you to try things you normally wouldn't.
Everything is made fresh and from scratch so it's easy to change how you want a dish made They explain the dishes if you aren't sure and give suggestions to try which is great.
Very accommodating ...great food ...wish we lived closer as would be a regular haunt.
We travelled from Stourport and were so happy we did. Walking into a lovely relaxing environment. Great vibes as soon as you enter the door. Lovely setting. Great food and exceptional friendly staff. Being Vegan we are normally looked down upon but here arms were opened and we were welcomed like long lost family.
We will go back again and we cannot recommend this excellent restaurant to everyone. Definitely the place to eat. Even the chairs were comfortable

Lovely, unexpected experience. Having stopped off looking for somewhere to eat, that's not a service station, we happened across Mendi. This truly is a family run establishment, with the husband cooking and the wife, Mendi herself, as front of house. The food itself was gorgeous and despite us not being vegetarian we didn't miss the meat. It was interesting for us to try something a little different and I'd be happy to go back again if we're ever traveling that way. What we did have was reasonably spicy so if that is the sort of thing you're into you'll love it!
Wow, simply amazing? 10/5 Mendi greeted us with a huge smile and informed us it was a vegetarian restaurant!! One of the part said “let’s look for another one” myself and my mate said no let’s stay. Thanks god we did! Mendi couldn’t look after us enough we put total faith in her to order for us and every dish was fresh and tasted amazing! It’s definitely on our map as we are from Cambridge and often Travel up the M5! It was amazing to see the rapport she had with her customers. You must visit this place if you love Curry! Even if you love meat like us 3. Thanks see you again soon

This restaurant is my best find, I think the food is outstanding and the service offered by the proprietor and staff is both welcoming and personal, like going to a friends home for a lavish meal. I am not a vegetarian, and never will be, my wife is, and finding good eating places that work for us both is difficult. I just love the flavours of Mendis food and am delighted that for once a vegetarian restaurant has me completely won over. I couldn’t reccomend this place any higher. We had a wonderful Valentine supper and felt the meal completed our Valentine evening.
