Absolutely beautiful place, lots of paths to follow around, and so much space for your four-legged friend to run free.
Car park can be very muddy in winter, but the woods are amazing.
Visited at the weekend, never been before but always driven past so I thought I would try it out. Free car parking not too bad, enough room for around 10 cars I’d say. Woods are flat and open especially for dog walkers and it was fairly quiet.
Great walks in a lovely wood, small carpark but worth a visit.
Easily one of the best woods in Doncaster. It's quite often really quiet and ideal for taking the dogs and/or small kids.
The only downside and the reason is that there's often a problem with people not cleaning up their dogs mess or they bag it up but leave the bags in random places in the woods. That isn't a negative on the wood itself but people in general.
Overall a fantastic spot. Worth checking out.
Beautiful place to walk and lots of different paths to inspect. Benches dotted around too if you need a rest every moe and then. Recommend a trip. Will definitely be going again and again as the seasons change.
Small free car park. No amenities. A good place for an easy stroll along paths which are firm underfoot plus public footpath options to walk further into High Melton or Barnburgh crags. Very pretty in spring with wild flowers.
Good spot for a walk in the shade, nice paths and woods for kids to explore. Off road parking, but can fill up on a nice day
Nice quiet and peaceful pleasant friendly people Nice to go to relax
