Got a fish butty for lunch after waiting for 10 mins as it was quite busy ! Fish was decent and quite big but fish was greasy and stuck to the wrapping paper but all in all it was OK.
Visiting Meltham, all the hype how fantastic Meltham Fisheries are on social media. Thought we would try. No meat and potatoe pies for starters, and then sold the 1 and only meat pie we had ordered to somebody else!! So we went somewhere else, and our order was fulfilled!!

Great fish n chips, friendly service, super value for money as the portions are huge! Definitely a recommendation.
Always really tasty fish and chips, but be prepared to have to wait as everything is cooked fresh.
Paid for 2 large curry sauces and 1 gravy. When I got home, they weren't in the bag with the order. Food would have been cold if we went back to collect.
Called in to Meltham Fisheries today after a 12 mile walk over the local moors. Had a fish butty, which was absolutely lovely, and the price was very reasonable too.
Not bad at all, food is ok, staff are lovely. Chips can be full of little scrappy bits which I don’t mind but some people wouldn’t be happy with. Overall I like it here
