I was saddened to read some negative reviews about this Local Pharmacy and to those people I would ask them to give it a second chance, nothing is perfect.
I use this Pharmacy regulary and see it during both busy and quiet periods of the day.
I have found everybody that works here to be both patient and knowledgable when I enquire about my prescriptions.
Being hearing impaired I struggle to communicate with many shop assistants, but the staff here put me at ease and are polite and calm when dealing with my needs.
My friend Annette and I would be upset if we were to lose this Pharmacy to a big corporate company such as Boots, as we are always welcomed with a smile which we think Boots would not.
To end this review I'd like to say again to the posters of the negative review please give this Local Pharmacy a second chance, many places have had to change their set up and routine since the epidemic and I feel that the Lunchtime closing is a much deserved breakin the day for a very busy store.
Everyone who works here is very helpful. The services the pharmacy offers are excellent. They work for the community. It's such a shame our local GPs don't value the community in the same way. Support your chemist because without this chemist goodness knows what would happen to the local community.
Never had any problems until today, 3 days ago was given medication for my son only 2 doses and they said they own me one. Today I went in to get third dose and they don’t have it. I asked to give me prescriptions back then and apparently they can’t cos I had 2 doses and I have to go back to the gp. What a joke this is.
Next time if you not sure you will get the medication don’t give half and tell patient to come back, if it was for my self I won’t mind but it is for my little child that is ill. I didn’t get any slip or anything that they own me medications or anything actually proving that. This is not acceptable!
I won’t recommend this service and may actually change pharmacy to different one.
Just got the latest COVID jab (COVID plus Flu will be very nasty, if not fatal) so I went to them for the immunization. It was done quickly, professionally and painlessly.

Terrible customer service and amazing if no one's been seriously ill due to their appalling medication system! You can wait half an hour or more while they search for it. If they can be bothered to serve you at all. Will never use again
Friendly and helpful staff, provide some health consultation services and flu Jabs. Only one bad thing - nowhere do the NHS or other websites mention that shutters are dropped and the pharmacy closes for an hours lunch each weekday. Couple of times I've stopped off or walked down to collect prescriptions only to find it closed and no details of when it will reopen!
Rude young man just answered the phone to me. I was very concerned about some side effects I was experiencing from a new medication, I asked for the pharmacist to help but was told 'he's a bit busy at the moment'. No sorry, no can I get him to call you back..... The young man in question needs some training in customer services!
