Terrible. Called for an appointment on Thursday morning - it is now Saturday and have heard nothing back.
What the hell have you done with this online request form? Remember who pays for your service. I cannot wait for the abolishment of the NHS so we can replace it with a new system, like medicare in Australia for example. A system that actually works.
Will be changing doctors surgery next week.
Used to be good under Dr. Booth; but gone down-hill since sold to new partners.
Nobody gets seen, nothing gets done and nobody know whats going on!
Never been told to wait four weeks for registration.
Never been told I have to apply online for triage to assess seeing a GP.
These are unacceptable barriers.
Five weeks later and still not registered.
Complete waste of time.
Clean bright waiting area with well spaced seating. Seen on time. Pleasant experience.
First time at this surgery Brilliant service I very rarely see a Doctor but thought I had kidney pain, was booked in same day the team called me back within 20 mins with a same day appointment seen by a doctor after a thorough check he prescribed pain killers to me for a lower back muscle problem, then on the Sunday was cooking a roast when I nearly fainted had to lie down called the surgery got booked a same day appointment with a senior Nurse brilliant helpful and very polite lady booked me in for bloods and ECG all the same week as a new patient can't speak highly enough...
This place doesn't even deserve a star, but sadly you have to at least give 1!
My partner was prescribed a pill that has effected her moods, libido & made her genuinely sick. Trying to get an appointment to get it changed was an ordeal in itself, then when she was given a telephone consultation for 5pm on the night before we went away on our holiday for two weeks (Having pushed to get seen before we go) the doctor then calls over an hour later than they were due to & my partner was on the toilet once again feeling sick so missed the call. When you try to return their call they leave the phone ringing off the hook...
It's now 6:20pm & their shift finishes in at 6:30pm, my guess is they're sat there waiting to go home & watch strictly, whatever the case, it's clearly more important than their patient's health matters.
Lazy staff & a distinct lack of care from the doctors, complete and utter incompetence.
Excellent surgery and helpful staff. The practice seems well managed. Most of my encounters with the doctors, nurses and receptionists have been 1st class. Ring in at 8am and 8/10 times I've obtained a same day appointment. Dr Booth and all colleagues are to be congratulated on their service.
Keep up the good work and thank you.
Getting an appointment is so difficult that people easily give up and don't get tratment. The online system was good for getting an appointments but they could be too far away. Now instead you have to be on the phone for so long with no certanty to get one. And if there are no more appointments for the day you can't book it for the next you have to call again and go through this again.... This system doesn't work
