We passed by this village and saw that the takeaway had a good review, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered salt & chilli chicken and Peiking sauce chicken with some fried rice. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned just the way I like and the sauce was delicious. It’s a pity that the fried rice was a bit plain.
Note: cash only as most of the Chinese takeaway.
I would have never thought that on my trip to Scotland I would have found some of the best Chinese food I have ever had!!! We ordered a lot of different items and everything was GREAT!! I will definitely come back any time I am in the area! Keep what you are doing, the food was amazing!!
Best Chinese I’ve been to and I’ve been all over UK , ordered a wide variety of food and all of it was amazing , really friendly staff , when I picked up the order looking into kitchen and it was sparkling clean , very impressed definitely deserves to be 5 star restaurant

Popped in on the way back from North...never used this Chinese before. Dry ribs, Salt and chilli king prawn, fried rice. Delicious! No complaints about the food or service. Would certainly use again.
Fantastic Chinese takeaway! By far one of the best we've had anywhere in the UK. Especially like being able to select your own meat/veg to go with the cooking style/sauce as it means you can get what everyone wants. Piping hot on collection, still piping hot and crispy when back to the accomodation 15 mins away. Not greasy, not fatty, just perfectly cooked and you can tell they've used fresh ingredients, especially with the size of the chicken pieces!
Good take away. Consistent and delicious. Highly recommend salt and chilli chicken entree and lemon chicken mains.
Note for tourists - if you don't want gravy on your combination fried rice be sure to order it "dry". This is a very Scottish thing.
