Went to Megs for the Pancake day dessert evening with my two daughter and friend and god it was good. we hadn't booked but they were very accommodating and gave us a table. The pancakes and waffles were outstanding and huge it even beat my daughter who loves a dessert. Really nice coffee and hot chocolate. The cakes on display looked very tempting so came home with their Banana cake, Brownie and Millionaire shortbread which were also very very tasty. I would highly recommend Megs. We will definitely be back to do afternoon tea, coffee and all those naughty but incredibly tasty cakes, waffles and pancakes.
My daughter and I took my friend for afternoon tea at Meg’s. WOW! It was delicious and incredible value for money. Lots of little different flavoured finger sandwiches, big scones with jam and clotted cream, a variety of home baked cakes and gorgeous cheese straws. We couldn’t eat it all so we given a box to take the rest home. The staff are so friendly and it’s a family run business headed by Meg. Would highly recommend. My daughter’s milkshake was HUGE - she loved it. Thank you Meg from three very full up and happy customers. Xxx

Went to Megs Kitchen for lunch earlier, staff are very friendly and a good selection of food choices. The cakes are delicious, would recommend. The only down side was there was not any baby changing facilities, however the toilet was very clean. Looking forward to returning.
The best breakfast in town! 4 of us went im just after 11am and the cafe was almost empty, service was great and the staff were very friendly and happy to chat. Eggs benedict was perfect!! Cooked breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast also amazing, great portion size and flavour too. Highly recommended!
Ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich for lunch to takeaway. Service was excellent, friendly atmosphere and the sandwich, salad and crisps were absolutely delicious. Thank you Meg's Kitchen!
Just been here today for lunch with my wife we ordered 2 ploughman's ...wow they came out on big tray each Quantity and Quality was amazing staff very friendly and polite .....even though they were short staffed they didn't fail to deliver. Looking forward to our next visit already big ????????????to you all.
Turned up early when they weren’t officially open but Meg took pity on me and made me a cappuccino and a bacon sandwich… excellent service and will definitely be going back.
