This is a sad situation, after years of a wonderful community post office run by Jay and his wife for over 30 years, we now have a new operation that is only interested in selling Vapes and alcohol.
The new regime is not at all suitable for this community that we have lived in for over 30 years.
Many events of dissatisfaction have occurred, but today was the final for me, I asked them to take a return box, as usual, the typically unhelpful member behind the counter said it was too big.
I carried it back out after several appeals.
Interestingly enough when I returned to the post office 30 mins later for something else - a box much larger than mine was being posted - no doubt a friend.
However, not of any particular consequence as I’ve already decided that this operation is not for us and will be boycotted - they seem to have put signs up outside for their main interest of vapes that don’t have permission but it seems they will do what they wish.
It’s just such a shame to have such an intense profit earning exercise with no regard for the sentiment of the neighbourhood.

Having received the response from ‘The Owner’ it says everything necessary. What a nasty vitriolic attitude, with no consideration for any other point of view that his money earning bent.
He should get his facts right - since I’ve lived here for over 30 years and he’s a new kid on the block.
As far as coming back to his store - not a chance.
It’s funny how he refers to me as an old man - yet able to carry a box apparently bigger than my body ??
Get back to to the play ground and stay out of the grown up world called business !

Really uncertain of their agenda, do not display prices on shelves which is illegal but is what happens with these small businesses, so they can charge whatever they like at the tills. not welcome in our community. They seem friendly but beware.
I do understand that it's under new management but they have had plenty of time to add prices to their goods as and when they load their shelves. There is no defence in their lack of transparency. In their favour they do seem to have a good sense of humour which is why they laugh all the way to the bank.
It’s a beautiful little post office which offers a variety of things and it’s very helpful with helpful staff.

The best post office in Woking area, staff is very friendly and helpful, I never had any problems with sending parcels/letters or cash deposits, highly recommended.
This husband and wife team are just wonderful people, who bring a real village post office feel to this store. He gives great advice as well on the best way to send items, costs for postage, with patience and warmth. I go slightly out of my way now to visit this store - best post office in the area.
Been using this post office 4 many many years, polite, helpful and always make you welcome. Support your local business because they need all the help they can get, from corporate businesses ever closing them down or becoming competion., keep up the good work you guys.
