I came here for lunch on my birthday with my Mum and we enjoyed the food so much! We both had the fish curry with bunny chow and were so impressed with the flavours and quality of the bread. Will definitely be coming back!
A really great lunch spot in the market - with plenty of veggie/vegan options, and super affordable prices! The smoked aubergine chutney was absolutely immense. And props to the lovely lady running the place, with full tables, all by her self! Would highly recommend.

Maurish has been on the list of places to eat for a while now and it did not disappoint. A great selection of vegetarian options we had the dumplings, spicy chickpea cakes, and cauliflower curry. All very delicious and we will be happy to return again soon for more delicious food!
The value and service are absolutely spot on. The owner is friendly and accommodating. And the spot is perfect as it us situated right next to the hop hatch bar to get some good craft beer
One of my Mauritian friends introduced me to Maurish, and told me the story of the owner and how they came to be in the market.
The owner recognised my friend and welcomed us, then took our orders when we were ready, after a short wait the food came, we'll presented and looking tasty.
The food was delicious, great value, and well worth my visit to Plymouth. I will definitely be visiting again to make my way through the menu.
