Usually well priced petrol but have been overcharged on store items multiple times, both reduced and on offer. It's a shame as it is otherwise a decent petrol station with nice people.
To start, an amazing fuel station, brilliant staff with a really good choice of products.
However, WTAF….a steak pasty, costing nearly £6.00, that was bought due to being in a rush and reduced to £3.00 this evening. I would have not even paid the £3.00 had I have known it was literally potato and pastry, if there was meat in it at some point it seemed to have evaporated between purchase and plate.
£6.00……!
Please, for the love of god, have a word with your supplier, I’d rather go out of my way to Occombe Farm for a meat pasty that contains actual meat, I thought they were pricey at nearly £5.00.
The prices for hot pastries at this service station are now astronomical. I believe sausage rolls are now almost £4.00. I can get a whole cooked chicken for £5.00 down the road ????????♀️
It's OK has a nice little shop attached with all the essentials...The stock it holds seems like it's been especially selected for the area as there are many items you would not normally find in your average spar shop, such as home cooked meals that are then frozen down and boxed ready for the customer to microwave. I guess it's for retired single people to utilise, a nice touch but pretty expensive although this Is surely justified because of the variety of hearty home cooking and nice ingredients. The fuel is quite expensive too but they tend to always have it when others don't. They only sell up to 97 octane however which is a shame as I use 99. The majority of their punters probably require diesel though judging by the amount of Land Rover that pull up when I'm there..
Clean and tidy good range staff could a little more friendly prices not cheap but you pay for convenience
Good Petrol/diesel station gas car accessories, sweets, papers abd foods. Nice staff and very cheap petrol, worth going to to get more value for money.
Open til late and great staff, gets you out of a bind when looking for something to eat last minute.
A surprising good shop located in a garage! They have a great selection of hot bakery foods and groceries, including lots of veggie and vegan options. We usually come here over the co-op as the choice is better! The shop is always clean and tidy too.
It's open on Sunday evening when Sainsbury and Morrisons can't be bothered
