Visited in the afternoon. Lovely pub with quiet pool/dart room. Nice pint of John Smiths and friendly, accommodating staff.
Pub 8/13 of our Golden Mile! More of a place for a Saturday night than a Wednesday afternoon. Bar staff was good and so was the pint. Bit let down by one of the regulars shouting at people and claiming to be the manager, while clearly inebriated. No shocks there in Aberdare! Drink up, let’s boo boo!

The only pub we ever go in when we go town
Won't go there again. During this Vivid period they are charging card fees for purchases. Even charging for debit cards which is a NO NO. Banks do not charge so why are they. RIP OFF PLACE
