By far the worst chemist in Darwen, first of all I went in with my prescription and I got told it would be 15mins ( no one in the pharmacy) I asked why and one of the staff said to me, well we are very busy you know, how bad do you need your prescription I replied with I need it, she then said well if you want to go to another chemist your more than welcome, the staff then we’re talking and whispering about me, all female staff, I’ve never been to such an unprofessional chemist, I will never step back in, I would of never gone if Cohens hadn’t had my prescription in. I am absolutely appalled by the staff ????
Awful place. Been left with no choice but to visit here a number of times and each time the same experience. All staff members are rude and dismiss the customer like they don't need you. There can be nobody in there except for you but they still expect you to wait half an hour for your prescription. Don't even bother trying to book a delivery as you'll be told to crawl in on your hands and knees. Worst chemist in the town and probably the country.
First class customer service with very polite and professional staff especially Satnam. Nothing is to much trouble for him and his knowledge of medical conditions is outstanding. Highly recommend.
I just want to give a shout out to the wonderful Pharmacist Satnam, he is so kind and caring… I suffer with Crohn’s disease and anxiety and now on top of that I’m dealing with Sciatica, just the thought of having to go and get my meds in the state I’m in was pushing my anxiety through the roof, but he organised to send it to me and I am so grateful. They also are super fast at getting the prescriptions together and I honestly can’t rate them highly enough. Thanks so much for being great ❤️
Absolutely appalling pharmacy, staff have no respect for their customers at all and regularly shout out private information to customers for the whole queue to hear! They show no compassion or empathy or enthusiasm for their duties and you are made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable - and god forbid if you ever need to purchase Co-codamol for good reason - you will be made to feel like a druggy and refused service! Will be reporting this pharmacy to the NHS and the GPhC as I and many others are tired of this behaviour from the only later opening pharmacy available for those of us unable to access pharmacy during work hours.
Thank you for sorting out my mums medicines for her 4 week holiday away. Really helpful and great service. We have been with them for over 10 years, always great.
My husband came in here on Sunday after my recommendation for an open chemist for a rash cream that was recommended by our Dr for him to use which is available at all pharmacies over the counter without prescription but this pharmacist decided he's a full blown GP and instead of giving my husband the cream he decided to question our own Dr's advice infront of a chemist full of strangers after being asked if they can use a private room and being told NO with a very angry tone and infront of my 14 year old daughter by demanding my husband tell him what the cream was for and why he needed it making my husband embarrass himself by having to announce to the entire chemist what it was for! This caused him to have serious anxiety and start to panic! Unacceptable behaviour from a so called professional ???? he's a pharmacist not a GP! I will not ever recommend this place to anyone in Darwen or Blackburn unless they want to be shown up infront of half the town! I have told our GP of this man questioning his advice to my husband and I have also reported the pharmacist to the relevant department of NHS health services. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS PHARMACY PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT ONE LIKE BOOTS OR GALOO BROTHERS where you WILL receive professional help and care In PRIVATE
