Zoe and the team at Mark Swatts Morse were fantastic in acting on our behalf when buying a house, right from the start through to the end. I am writing this to say thanks a lot for the amazing support and help of Mrs Emma Harm. I had a frustrating sale going on and she was always very resposive during every stage of it until completion. I would definetly use her services again.
I recently had the misfortune to be selling my flat to a buyer using Mark Swatts Morse for their conveyancing.
My experience was very poor. Even my own conveyancing solicitor noted that he’d never dealt with such an unresponsive and slow firm.
One month before the agreed exchange date, my buyers solicitor became entirely uncontactable for 3 weeks with no explanation or support from any one else at MSM in her absence. Once she finally contacted my buyer again, it became apparent that most of the work for the purchase was still to be done, with just 1 week to go to exchange.
It didn’t get better from here, and we had multiple missed completion dates before we finally managed to finalise the purchase. It took far longer than agreed for no good reason other than their laziness and incompetence.
There were also many examples of MSM missing documents and answers that we had sent, and further slowing the process by asking for the same information to be sent multiple times.
Overall Mark Swatts Morse made what should have been a simple and fast transaction incredibly slow, painful and stressful. I would avoid them like the plague for a property purchase.
Brilliant experience throughout. Very helpful and as stress free as it can be made. Nothing was to much trouble and when something was needed that requiring doing it was done straight away. Great communication and I can’t thank them highly enough. Highly recommended! Miss Z Parkes your a credit to your company, much appreciated and you deserve all the praise you can get.
