Lovely, excellent staff well looked after from Andrew helpful and friendly ???? room small but everything you need. Unfortunately bathroom and wardrobe doors stick so having to leave open. Also vanity mirror has bulb out and too high. Full length mirror in room though. Comfy bed, pillows and linen. View stunning. Restaurant menu fabulous also food excellent quality. Not had breakfast yet it's continental. Highly recommend visiting. Will return in future. Here as I'll it's been wonderful. Well done everyone ????
We were at the hotel after the funeral for the wake. It was held upstairs so we didn't have a room or anything. The upstairs was nice with views over the harbour. It was in March and wasn't the best of weather but I can imagine it's really nice in the summer. There are seats and tables outside, and I think it would be really nice sitting there on a summer day/night just watching the world go by. The food that was put on was really nice too, the sausage rolls were to die for and they kept emptying first.
We are planning on going back up in the summer for a weekend to discover more of Stonehaven.
No issue with staff either, they were more than helpful.
Lovely hotel, great for a weekend getaway. Beautiful views over Stonehaven Harbour. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent breakfast (a lovely selection of pastries, meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and so on, plus coffee or tea).||Staying at the hotel is also great because of the phenomenal pub on the ground floor, and restaurant on the 1st floor, though you can also order the food in the pub. I've eaten at the restaurant more than once, and always had a great meal. ||Highly recommended.
We didn't stay there as we live locally. Fantastic choice of their own brewery beers, the food was excellent and tasty, staff as always were fun and attentive. We love this place
Enjoyed a nice family meal here by the harbour on Tuesday night. Guy serving was nice and friendly and very relaxed. Fish was healthy and nice and fresh. Gingerbread brownie and biscoff cheesecake were very good. Nice food for children too.
Went for lunch in the restaurant today. Had the trio of fish with mussels which was excellent. Add to this the nice atmosphere and very good service, would definitely recommend The Marine. Is now on our list of eat out places.
We stopped in for a meal and a couple of drinks. The atmosphere was great and the locals were very friendly, food spectacular and drinks were fun.
Had lunch with friends here. Very good service, excellent food and a pleasing selection of drinks. Lovely view over the harbour. Highly recommended.
