my sons car broke down in a bus lane from a radiator water leak at the junction from llanedyn to newport road junction and i was able to get it moved safetly to new road in rumney i then contacted maerdy motors who i have been a customer for many years and i was put in contact with the new owner it was roughly 3,30 pm and i was concerned they woudnt be able to help my son but the new owner said yes no problem get the car to me and i will have a look at the problem for you i droped my car there and his mechanics looked at it and said its leaking water from the side of your engine the new owner said no problem i will phone my suppliers and get it done for you today bear in mind its almost closing time he phone many suppliers and one of them had my sons part in stock and there mechanics fixed it there and then i cant fault the new owner of maerdy motors and his mechanics they went over and beyond ther shutting down time to help my son and they have 2 new customers for all my sons and my van mot works in the future 5 star service many thanks to you all andy
WARNING TO ALL! This garage has a new owner and absolutely cannot be trusted.I had my car MOT tested and to my surprised he charged me 150 pounds for sorting the horn. Nothing wrong with it as I’m using it.I was desperate for MOT as due next day so I paid for it.Again he charged me for 400 pounds for immobiliser recently and apparently 2 wires disconnected and no warranty given until I argued with his MANAGER mechanic and given 15 days not for parts only service as they bought it in eBay used. Take note they charged me 400 pounds!!! MARDY MOT cannot be TRUSTED.Im currently complaining to Citizens Advice.THEY VERY RUDE PEOPLE in MARDY MOT MOTORS.New management cannot be trusted.Warning to all
Yesterday I paid 200 pounds for an mot and brake pads at this garage when I got home I checked and the pads had not been done I am an oap struggling on a pension and cannot afford to take a financial hit like this
Excellent service and nothing is to much trouble. Owner Stuart very helpful and friendly. Certainly not looking to rip u off. In fact did few bits for me out of courtesy during my vehicle inspection
which is why I would highly recommend taking your car to this garage.
