Jackie from Mapleview B&B is a kind and gracious host. I was stuck in Aberdeen with no place to stay because something had gone wrong with my reservation and all the beds in and around Aberdeen were booked due to conferences. I found the Mapleview B&B online and called. It was already late and I still had to drive out to the B&B. In a very friendly and uncomplicated way, Jackie helped me out when someone else might have taken advantage of my situation. After a good night's sleep and Jackie's tasty breakfast I was ready to take on the world again.||The B&B is located in a beautiful area and it is easy to find with the help of Google maps. The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. I can highly recommend staying at Mapleview.
Very comfortable breakfast amazing made to feel welcome and homely very clean and Jackie is great. I was here visiting Scotland on my own so it was nice to come back and just chill. It is in a quite a remote spot but you were not far from most ammenities.
We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the beautifully quiet location, as we could easily see nearby castles as well as Stonehaven on the coast. Our room was large, very clean and warm. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. We took their suggestion and ate at the Muggerthaugh Hotel (a 10 minute drive through countryside), where the food was tasty and well catered for gluten-free food.
Warm and friendly atmosphere with a spotlessly clean room. Jackie was very welcoming, a fantastic host. Breakfast was lovely, not a complaint to be had. Will certainly return if we are in the area again in the future, and recommend to anyone who's looking for a b&b within that area.
We are a family of four and recently stayed at this lovely B&B.The large green lawn next to a big sheep field immediately had our youngest out of her skin with excitement. We made it our personal challenge to coax the sheep to come up to us, and by their reaction they found us to be just as much of a curiosity. Seeing her interest Jackie and Steve arranged for us to go and see some lambs on the nearby property! ||Such lovely people, nothing was too big an ask and they happily gave their time (and some drams of good whisky) to answer our many questions about the area. ||The property has easy access but is still lovely and peaceful, so a restfull sleep was a given, the beds were super comfortable, and an ensuite bathroom made life easy for us. ||The breakfast was so lovely, fresh and delicious. ||We can’t thank you enough for making our holiday super special!
I did like this tiny b@ b. Just hills, valleys, forest and fields around... and silence. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfest fresh, tasty but so rich that think about aking for 1/2 size if you are not a huge and very hungry man ???? Charming hosts.
Excellent accommodation, rooms clean and nice and warm. Pleasant owners and perfect breakfast. We will definitely use this one again if we are in the area. Plenty parking space and very quiet place to spend a night.
Super value B&B lovely host and the room was so clean and fresh. Stayed in the family room great sleep had by the 4 of us! Will highly recommend if in the area
