Amazing vegan food!
There are Thai dishes prepared with vegan meats. Burgers , nuggets etc, all with vegan meat that seem so real!
They even have ice cream sundae!
The staff are all lovely and their dog is adorable! Thank you for great vegan food for our week in koh kood!!
I only wish the timetable of when the restaurant is open or closed could be posted somewhere. We walked everyday 20 minutes to the restaurant and many days the restaurant was closed (lunch time and sometimes dinner times).
We understand that sometimes there are circumstances that the restaurant must close. But as it happened multiple times in a week, I think it would be a good idea to make a social media page or something where they can post a message to say if the restaurant will be open or closed (and at which time they will be open)
This way we would have been able to check if the restaurant is open and not have to spend 40 minutes to walk there and back when it is closed.
We LOVE the restaurant so much and this is just a suggestion for future ????????
Given that Mandala is the only vegan/vegetarian restaurant, we had high hopes. Unfortunately our timing was bad as the restaurant had some issues with water supply and their Thai menu was not serviceable. We had Vegan Chicken Burgers, Mango Smoothie and Mocha Coffee.
The burgers had incredible homemade buns that were really hearty and filling. The beverages were okay though. Sadly I can't comment about the other items, but their Thai menu did look pretty good!
Another thing to note is that the restaurant is on a slight incline and doesn't have too much space for scooters, so you can expect having to park a lil far to avoid parking on the road or on an uncomfortable slant.
The staff was very polite and expressed a lot of gratitude to us for choosing to come there. They also had really interesting music playing, you can say a mix of Reggae and Indian music.
Do note that they didn't have WiFi at the time we went.
We were here 5 times during our stay in Koh Kood. The atmosphere is relaxed and the owners are super friendly and attentive. The food is *chef's kiss* I highly recommend vegan chicken burger. Their bruschetta is also nice.
The ice cream is rich in flavour as well. The coconut and almond chocolate ones are so good. It's such a good place to try vegan food (even if you are not even a vegan!)
Relaxte sfeer, heel vriendelijke ontvangst, lieve hond en vooral heerlijk vegan eten! Ze hadden de laatste dagen problemen met de water toevoer maar zijn nu weer open van 12am - 8pm!!!
Ein Must go auf Koh Kood für Veganes und vegetarisches Essen!! Wir haben jeden Tag hier gegessen und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Robyn und Ayneeii sind ein super Team und das Essen ist der Hammer! Wir empfehlen besonders alle Burger und Smoothies. Aber auch das Frühstück ist sehr lecker! Absolute Empfehlung von uns und wir wünschen den beiden alles Liebe!
Sehr leckeres veganes Essen mit großer Auswahl. Die Burger und Smoothies sind köstlich. Freundliches Personal und chillige Musik runden das Ganze perfekt ab. Wir kommen gern wieder.
