I placed an order for collection, the order was accepted and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Due to living 11 minutes away I left to collect it, however when I pulled up I had recieved a text 2 minutes before collection stating order has been cancelled and I will be refunded in 3-5 days.
This was the first time ordering from here and I am very disappointed ????, why accept my money and the order if they can't honor it.
Customer service was second to none. Order arrived later than stated, however they provided a handwritten apology and made it up! We wouldn't expect this and are therefore incredibly grateful to them.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to African cuisine, so can't compare this to anything I've had before. However, the food I ordered (Prince of Africa) was delicious.
The plantain was perfectly cooked and caramelised, while the rice and chicken had a great flavour. I would say that the gizzards did have a slightly... strange flavour but that could just be how they're meant to taste.
Fantastic amount of food as well.

Second time we've ordered the Prince of Africa family meal and it was absolutely delish! I can't recommend this restaurant enough. You can order a delivery or do a takeaway. The photo doesn't include the gizzards or corn on the cob BTW!
This place is terrible brought my friend here for a curry goat rice and peas I asked the lady what she recommended the jerk or curry goat she insisted the curry goat was very good it was full of oil i will attach picture as well I’m not someone who even leave reviews but this was soo bad i felt obligated to do so.also there was only 2 pieces of meat it was a joke. I can’t attach photo here as it has to be a picture taken however I will be sending it to the correct food hygiene services.if anyone knows how I can share it here please let me know believe you me once it is seen no one will b ordering a curry goat from here again
The containers have been drastically reduced with the food not even filling them up. For £7 it’s a rip off. For a loyal customer I am disappointed. Definitely not the time to rip people off. We understand you want profits but trade carefully too.
Started out well but has gone downhill. Food delivered over an hour instead of the 30 minutes promised and instead of having a number you can speak to them on, you are patched through to some Food Hub site which is unhelpful. This was an effort to give them a second chance - clearly a failure. Disappointing as not many Caribbean options locally.
Took them an hour and 50 minutes to deliver despight advertising delivery in 30 minutes. Despight me calling them twice and promising quick delivery - food tasted average, overly spicey and lacking in flavour
We had goat curry, jerk chicken and jolof. The rice was a bit salty but everything else was fantastic. Best take out I've had in a while.
