Delicious food, the owner is absolutely fantastic and so nice and caring, always welcoming. We drove from Cambridge and we stopped on the way back. Food is really yummy, the abula is my favourite. ❤️
This is a great place to get authentic African food prepared fresh. The menu is packed with choices and options for even the fussiest diner. The location is good, right on the high street but lack of available parking and the 1980s decor prevent this place from being truly 5 stars.
I came here to try some authentic Nigerian food before my friends wedding. I enjoyed every bite!!! The service was amazing, the gentlemen was so kind and helpful and gave me great advice on what to order. The food was fresh and so tasty! Mama is a wonderful cook and felt very looked after! I’ll definitely be coming back! :)
A bijoux African eatery with freshly cooked food, this means you need to wait a little while before you are served your meal.
Staff friendly and nice ???????? ????????
Overall 3.5 rating for me, as there is room for improvement.
I enjoyed the services I received at this magnificent restaurant. The food was amazing leaving both me and my friends stuffed. The staff are very friendly and it just felt like home ✨✨
The pounded yam was very good and egusi stew. My jollof was a bit bland and the "jerk" chicken was not real jerk; just some sauce on it. The plaintains were not the softest either. The cole slaw was amazing. The one staff member there was nice but I cant believe that there is only one staff member at the restaurant of a Saturday night... like wth!?!? So service took some time. She had to take, place and cook our orders. The decor left much to be desired; some artwork here and there but there were bits and bobs near the back that could be seen. We had palm wine; it was an okay attempt at it. It was cool to see that it could be bottled like that but it only had 1% etol. Maybe due to the rain but id love to see and eat at the place when its busier.
Beautiful reception. Great guy - welcoming, courteous and professional
Certainly delicious meals - perfect seasoning and spice level. Most importantly hygienic
The place is nice and there is a family atmosphere
We had Pepe soup, Jollof Rice and fried Yam, all really good!
Prices are reasonable and the amount of food is good.
We decided for four stars just because of noisy guests (there was the football match in tv). Definitely to try!!
