Tasty Ghanaian dishes with friendly staff. Just need to upgrade the environment. Each meal cost £10 as at time of visit.
Honest review: my partner buys food from Mama Africa every now and then purely because all the other Ghanaian restaurants he preferred closed down. I ate there once and vowed never again but I go along with him for him but never eat the food. The food is average at best but the worst is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Sticky floors, dirty tables, dirty bins, blasting music, food looks like it’s been out for HOURS. I can imagine how unclean the back kitchen. The service isn’t great either, sometimes you’re waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to be present at the counter to serve you. I would not recommend this place to family or friends.
If you are the owner or know the owner,
I would highly advise you deep clean your front house and make the space more presentable. Also install a button where customers can ring for your attention if you are in the back of the kitchen.

Food is amazing. However they do not open at 10:30am. Was really looking forward to some Jollof and stew.
The food here was so nice. I happened to be in Milton Keynes area and passed by this place so thought to try. Very traditional african food and kind service. Jollof rice was good, the stew was great too and well seasoned. The fried fish was delicious. Would definitely go here again for some good Ghanaian food again.
I am so impressed by these guys. The food is delicious. I have driven 15 miles to come get Waakye and beef stew. They didn’t disappoint. My husband had jollof and red bream and every dish was on point. The customer service is second to none. Thank you from Buckingham!
The beef stew was nice, the rice as hard (microwaved, not good). The whole place needs some love and care. A saturday evening, I was the only customer and the staff seemed surprised to see me. They'll be even more surprised to see me a second time.

Unfortunately not great at all. Jerk chicken was too salty, beef stew was not nice at all and jollof rice was just hard. I hate throwing food away, but this is what I had to do with what I bought. I have ordered similar African food elsewhere and it is usually lovely but unfortunately I have to rate this experience 1*.
