Back again!!! Service was good. Had a buzzer system when ready to order which was abit strange. He came over to see what was wrong. When we said we was ready to order he said ok he'll go and get someone ???? Not sure why he answered the buzzer if he couldn't take our order.
Food was nice apart from garlic naan. Couldn't actually taste the garlic. Was just chunks rolled into the middle of the bread.
First time here. Called in advance to find out if the served alcohol. They said no but the shop just next door did. Popped to the shop to find out the shop next door doesn't actually sell alcohol at all. So had to walk all the way to the garage before getting our table which was booked.
Was a quiet evening in there with 2 rather young serving staff. Mains hadn't even arrived yet and they were trying to take our poppadoms away even though we hadn't finished with them.
Curries were nice but for a rogan josh and jalfrazi they wasn't hot at all.
We were all a little sceptical about choosing this month's venue for our monthly dining trip, but have to say we were not disappointed. Hospitality was very good, they were accommodating when we asked to switch from a booth table to a more open table. Each course was enjoyable, and just enough time between courses.
They catered for the odd amendments to the mains, and served us up some good flavoursome dishes.
Would recommend again and again.
After working in Lye for over 35 years and seeing the demise of so many good Indian restaurants, Malik's has certainly made me want to go back for more.

Fantastic meals we were there last night .
We have been here twice so far and both times the food has been SO good! Highly recommend the butter chicken! But the staff are just on another level compared to most restaurants. Theh are super friendly and just genuinely lovely! The level of customer service is amazing here, just such nice people. We will definitely keep coming back!
Food was absolutely beautiful. Great place to host a family function, or go out in general. Customer service was great and there’s good accessibility with wheelchair access. Highly recommend!!
Love this place. Fantastic decor. Friendly staff and marvellous food doesn't have an alcohol license so take a bottle with you service is quick and friendly food is piping hot will be going again soon. Back again after a while. Still has superb atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommend you try
Would not recommend. Staff are clueless, video of my family was uploaded on social media channels without any permission. Food was cold, hair in my curry and could go on.
Arrived at 7 20 for our evening. One young man was trying to serve the tables. It wasn't full but he seemed to be the only waiter and was rushed off his feet .The place was cold, in fact the manager was wearing a full length coat . Waited over an hour for an average meal. Hair found in one of the dishes. Very disappointed
